Scoutmaster's Message:On behalf of Troop 1, welcome to Boy Scouting! We’re proud of the many young men that have grown through our troop since it started in 1992. Our troop is chartered by Sandia Presbyterian Church and has a very active program with many opportunities. They include helping Scouts develop good moral character, values, physical fitness, and the skills of leadership as they learn to be responsible citizens, all the while having fun and learning camping skills in the great outdoors. To find out more about Troop 1, you can look at our Troop 1 Handbook for a brief history of the Troop and information about how the Troop functions. If you have questions about our troop, please feel free to contact me. You can meet me at one of our Tuesday night troop meetings, call me at (505) 235-0427 or email me here. -Mr. Brian Hanson Troop 1 would like to thank BSA Troop 93, Pittsboro, NC for allowing us to use the framework and content of their site as a basis to build our own site.
As part of the Great Southwest Council, our Troop's goals parallel those of the Boy Scouts of America . We meet each Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at our own Scout Hut at Sandia Presbyterian Church located at the SE corner of the Paseo del Norte and Eubank intersection, Albuquerque NM (click here for map)
